Dock Master's Office
British Waterways (Bridgwater)

The development of the Bridgwater docks area as a leisure based marina has prompted the need for a new operational control building to manage the complicated local interchange system. It's primary function is to provide the Dockmaster with a panoramic vantage point from which to manage and control the movement of water-bourne traffic in the docks, lock systems and canal. A Ship's Chandlers' shop is situated on the ground floor.

Woodlands Pavillion
Taunton

The pavilion in the grounds of a listed country house is to provide a purpose-made venue for conferences, wedding receptions and other functions. The building is designed to partly occupy a walled garden which opens into a landscaped park. The organic structure creates a romantic, dream-like environment in response to it's natural setting.

The Youth Centre provides for a wide range of activities and water-based pursuits including a slipway into the canal. The complex was funded through the MyPlace grant aid to deliver world class youth facilities by engagement with all stakeholder groups and by public consultation. The building has been designed to achieve a BREEAM "Outstanding" rating through passive solar technologies, sustainable construction, renewable energy and low Co₂emissions.
